Hi! I'm Norris. Professionally, I've been in the IT industry for over 15 years. And, I worked a number of years in banking and transportation. Personally, I've been a tech enthusiast since the early days of gaming in the 80's. I'm very passionate about 3D virtual environments, user interface design and usability. In addition, I'm interested in emerging media and how social networks and 3D virtual worlds will shape the future.
I hold a Masters Education specializing in Instructional Technology. Currently, I'm pursuing a PhD in Information Technology where I plan to focus my disseration topic on Human Computer Interaction (HCI) and the strategies and tactics needed to effectively design three-dimensional (3D) social virtual environments, games and simulations.
